It's built into how records are scoped, shared, and logged. Here is exactly what that means, in plain terms, for both patients and doctors.
A doctor's registration, license number, and declared specialties are recorded against their practice profile. Their status shows honestly as "Verified" or "Pending" in the doctor directory — never disguised as the same thing.
Every session is authenticated with a signed token, and every request is checked against what that session is actually allowed to do. Sharing a record with a specialist shares that record — not your entire history, and not your whole practice.
Visit notes, prescriptions, and care-plan updates are logged with who made the change and when. Nothing is silently overwritten between visits, and administrators can review a platform-wide audit log.
When a doctor loops in a specialist, they share one patient's relevant history for that referral — not their entire patient list. Patients can see who has access to what.
Every session is authenticated with a JSON Web Token (JWT), and every API request is checked against what that session is permitted to see or change. There is no direct, unauthenticated access to patient data.
By default, only you and the doctor(s) directly involved in your care. If your doctor shares your case with a specialist for a second opinion, only that specific case — not your full history or their whole patient list — becomes visible to the specialist.
It means that doctor's registration, license number, and declared specialties have moved through our credential review pipeline and been confirmed by an administrator. A "Pending" doctor is shown as pending, not hidden behind the same badge.
Yes — your full timeline of visits, prescriptions, and care plans can be exported as a dated PDF at any time, so you always have a portable copy to bring to a new doctor, a specialist, or an insurer.
Yes. Every visit log, prescription, and care-plan update is attributed to the doctor who made it and timestamped, so there is a clear history behind every change to your record.
